The Archive unit is the repository of all Land Survey(LS) Plans  registered at the Registrar General’s Department prior to the implementation of LAVIMS.

With the advent of LAVIMS, all registered LS plans are stored digitally in the Digital Cadastral Database.

The Archive Unit is responsible for the issue of certified copies of LS plans while at the same time provides the infrastructure for consultation of the LS plans by members of the public.

Service Standards

Certified copies of LS plans are generally issued on the day of request against payment of the appropriate fee.​​
