​The syndics on NHDC housing estates are being substantially assisted to meet the cost of expenditure relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the common areas which includes, inter alia, cutting of grass, repairs of common equipment and minor repairs of the buildings and utility services for which the Government is contributing a monthly amount of Rs 200 per housing unit.
